Para Pachamama ~ Spirit of Earth supports the various initiatives that are being developed to achieve a life in harmony with nature from a scientific, cultural, political, legal and civil society perspective.
"Imagine a world where Ecocide is a crime treated with the same seriousness as Genocide. CEOs, prime ministers and investment bankers could all stand to be imprisoned if they were guilty of contributing to the extensive destruction of ecosystems. "
Para Pachamama ~ Spirit of Earth has been an allied supporter of Polly Higgins' work and her vision to have Ecocide be a recognized crime against Peace. Recognized by all Levels of Governments, Ecocide is a crime against the people living with the land, a crime against our Earth, our only Home.
At the UN Conference in 2008, Polly proposed a Universal Declaration of Planetary Rights. By September 2009, the government of Bolivia said that they were interested in proposing a similar Universal Declaration of Mother Earth Rights into the General Assembly at the UN. They have now done this. You can read about it on http://www.eradicatingecocide.com
The International Tribunal for Natural Justice (ITNJ) is constituted to protect and defend the Natural Rights of all peoples and all sovereign beings everywhere. Wherever harm has been done to any living man or woman or any group of People, and all avenues of recourse have been exhausted without finding remedy or resolve, these cases may be brought before the ITNJ. Wherever justice has been denied, the ITNJ will serve as final arbiter of Natural Law.
What is Natural Law?
Natural law is defined as law consistent with nature and so is universal. In the context of human justice it may be best described as that which the conscience of all good wo/men would propose. Its application by the ITNJ is therefore interpreted as equity, or the fairness, reason and common sense by which all man-made laws are to be measured. Unlike common law which is local, natural law is universal. In other words, justice which respects natural law would be the same in Milan, Spain as in Virginia, USA. The famous statement respecting Equity applies likewise to natural law – “Common law is nothing without natural law, but natural law is everything even without the common law.
The International Tribunal for Natural Justice shall exist and function according to the Constitution of the International Tribunal for Natural Justice pursuant to the ultimate purpose of realizing equal rights and dignity for each member of the human family – restoring truth and reason to the delivery of justice in the world.

The ITNJ belongs to the People and is not controlled by any nation, state, corporation, or ‘special interests’. The ITNJ now stands as sentinel and protectorate for all, and we invite you to stand with the ITNJ. While the ITNJ may accept contributions from any source, the ITNJ does not rely on any sources except the People – please consider making a monthly contribution.
